Founder
Frank Mongillo
Frank started Trans Power with a belief that a contractor’s reputation is built on quality, trust, and consistency. Drawing on deep experience in the utility sector, he focused on long term partnerships and on building a team that could match complex technical requirements with straightforward execution in the field. Under Frank’s leadership, Trans Power became known for safe, reliable delivery on projects that connect Ontario’s communities and businesses.
From the earliest days, Frank set clear expectations for how projects should be planned and managed. Schedules are realistic, crews are supported, and risks are addressed before they affect public safety or client operations. That discipline helped Trans Power earn work across a broad range of scopes, including high voltage cable installation, transformers, switchgear, street and highway lighting, traffic signals, telecommunication infrastructure, and natural gas facilities. Frank’s commitment to recruiting top talent and investing in training created a culture where workmanship and accountability are non-negotiable.
As the company grew, Frank encouraged practical innovation. New tools and methods are adopted with a purpose. Reduce surface disruption. Improve reliability. Increase efficiency without cutting corners. This balanced view of technology and craft has become part of the Trans Power standard that partners expect on their projects.
Founder
Simone De Gasperis
Simone brought a career of field leadership to Trans Power, and his influence can be seen in the way crews plan, communicate, and execute work. He believes safe production is the only kind of production that matters. That belief shows up in the details. Clear site controls. Daily checks and hazard assessments. Hands on supervision that keeps crews focused and supported as conditions change.
With Simone’s guidance, Trans Power strengthened its operational discipline and its ability to deliver predictable outcomes across varied sites and schedules. He helped the company scale while staying close to the work, so issues are solved quickly and projects stay aligned with client goals. Many partners first came to Trans Power because of Simone’s reputation for practical problem solving and stayed because of the consistent results they saw on site after site.
Simone also set a tone for respectful teamwork. Forepersons and crew leads are developed through coaching and real world learning, and every person on the crew knows that their voice matters when it comes to safety and quality. That approach built trust within the company and with clients who value open communication and steady, responsible delivery.
